Full Fat Dairy (surprising results)

We’ve been told for years to avoid full-fat dairy products because it could increase our heart disease risk.

However, new research reveals this isn’t true–in actuality, it could prevent heart problems.

Published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, researchers found that older adults who consumed high amounts of saturated fats from full-fat dairy products were less likely to die from heart disease compared to those who kept their intake low.

In addition, it also led to a 42 percent decrease in death from stroke.

So what does this mean?

Simple: High-fat dairy products are good for you. Contrary to popular belief, consuming fat won’t put your health at risk.

What You Should Do?

Worried about your heart? Then dairy is the least of your concerns. Indulging in high-fat dairy products could actually be crucial to a heart-healthy lifestyle.

But be warned: this isn’t a license to overindulge.

Eating a well balanced diet and exercising often are far more effective for maintaining optimal heart health.

It also helps reduce the likelihood of other health problems as well, such as diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease.
